About Me
I was born and raised in a quaint small town on the north shore of Lake Superior named Grand Marais, MN. My childhood years were spent getting up to tomfoolery with my rambunctious siblings, my big brother, Jack, and my little sister, Ky. I remember making wooden swords in the backyard with my siblings and testing them out in duels, as well as accidentally cutting our father’s landing net handle to make a guitar slide. Yes. Accidentally. Don’t ask how. We also enjoyed playing video games, building forts, watching shows, and playing board games together.
We certainly had a lot of fun left to our own devices, but we also had a good time with our parents. We went on a fair bit of family camping and fishing trips. We also practically on lived on skis in the winter with our father taking us on weekly adventures at Lutsen Mountains. Likewise, in the summer we hit the mountain biking trails at Pincushion Mountain.
My brother graduated high school in 2017 and has since started a family in southeastern Wisconsin and an electrician apprenticeship. We stay in close contact, and see each other frequently for holiday’s and vacations.
I graduated high school in 2021 and attended Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College in Cloquet, MN for law enforcement, but quickly realized that wasn’t the right fit for me. As such, I decided to take a gap year to consider my future while saving up money working at a retail store back in Grand Marais.
My sister graduated school spring 2023 and decided to pursue art for her future and I eventually decided computer programming would be up my alley. We were both fortunate enough to get a very valuable scholarship only offered for graduates of our high school that is valid at a few select community colleges. So as fate would have it, we’re currently both studying at Lake Superior College in Duluth, MN. We still spend much of our days together.
